“One beautiful sunny day I decided to take a sketch pad down to the field and draw them. I wasn’t happy with the first couple of attempts, but enjoyed the process so much that whenever the sun was out I’d take my pencils and go down to their field. I really wanted to do them justice as they are such magnificent beasts! After a few more attempts putting my sketches onto canvas I eventually found my style with them and they turned into the cows you see in my collection today. Sadly we have since moved house so I no longer walk past them each day.
