We are delighted to present Coming Home, Ian H Watkins’ debut collection with DeMontfort Fine Art – a series of evocative abstract landscapes and seascapes inspired by the beauty of the British Isles. Through these paintings, Watkins invites viewers to experience the shifting light, textures, and moods of the British landscape and coastline and to share in the profound sense of belonging that lies at the heart of his art. His expressive, intuitive approach places him within the rich tradition of the UK's landscape and seascape painting.
His practice has been influenced by masters such as Kyffin Williams, John Constable and Gustav Klimt, as well as contemporary artist Elfyn Lewis, yet his voice is unmistakably his own – emotive, instinctive, and deeply authentic.
