Jared Kruger, also
known as Jed, is a South African marine artist who has enjoyed a life-long love
affair with the sea and its inhabitants. His immersive ink paintings
explore the complex beauty of life beneath the surface of the ocean. Working
between scientific illustration and abstract expression, his process mirrors
the sea itself—unpredictable, layered, and deeply emotional. Through his
art, Jared hopes to inspire conversations around ocean conservation and the
fragile magic of the natural world.
